Well it should. Master of Shadows appears in the privileged upper-right quadrant\u2014that would be &#8220;highbrow&#8221; and &#8220;brilliant&#8221;\u2014of New York Magazine&#8217;s weekly <a href=\"http:\/\/nymag.com\/arts\/all\/approvalmatrix\/61746\/\">Approval Matrix<\/a> feature. Impressive, and considerably better than Philadelphia, placed toward the top left for its &#8220;undistinguished architecture and culture.&#8221; Can&#8217;t say I totally <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.marklamster.com\/?p=405\">disagree<\/a>, but at least they&#8217;ve got <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mlahanas.de\/Greeks\/Mythology\/RM\/PrometheusRubens.jpg\">this<\/a>, which, come to think of it, is probably a nice illustration of how<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2009\/11\/02\/sports\/baseball\/02series.html?hp\"> certain residents<\/a> of that city are feeling this morning.<\/p>\n<p>The full &#8220;Highbrow&#8221; and &#8220;Brilliant&#8221; quadrant after the jump:<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/blog.marklamster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/picture-2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.marklamster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/picture-2.png\" alt=\"picture-2\" title=\"picture-2\" width=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Does the air around here seem just a bit more rare on this fine Monday morning?
