I&#8217;m not sold on Arad as an architect, but his material experimentation is certainly admirable and many of his chairs\u2014and this show is mostly about chairs\u2014are undeniably attractive, if not always functional. Though maybe just being beautiful is a function sometimes? The best thing about the show might just be the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.momastore.org\/museum\/moma\/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&#038;storeId=10001&#038;catalogId=10451&#038;productId=59339&#038;promoCode=8H104&#038;cid=ORG03110908\">catalog<\/a>, with a characteristically straightforward design by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/karlssonwilker-inc-s-tellmewhy-Months-Company\/dp\/1568984162\">karlssonwilker<\/a> and an equally sharp cover by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pulp-ink.com\/\">Beverly Joel<\/a>. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My review of the Ron Arad: No Discipline exhibition now up at MoMA appears in the latest issue of ID.
